"Makla, The Omen Guardian"
Makla was one of the first characters created for my book "ZEITGEIST: O Espírito do Tempo" 💎
The first sketch for this character came about through a study, produced in 2019, which I introduce it in my previous artbook. As far as its design is concerned, I wanted to create a female character that reflected aspects such as sensuality, grandeur and mystery. As a visual reference, I used photos of some models from the 1920s and 1950s. In the context of the narrative, Makla would be a kind of “mentor” for the protagonist of the story, with her real intentions to guide him, being revealed little by little throughout the book.
