"Bleak"

For this particular illustration, I decided to take a break to review my perspective and lighting fundamentals.

Because of this, while in the 3 previous works I spent 1 day of work to finish them, this one took about 3 days.

And as at the time I was studying the book “”How To Draw” by the artist Scott Robertson, this was the perfect time to put into practice the knowledge I acquired. Therefore, in the making of this work, I tried to emphasize the aforementioned artistic foundations, hence these were the focus of my studies.

I would say that the most complicated part of this illustration was the execution of the cast shadows on the scene, especially the shadow of the main character.

To give you an idea, during the planning of the scene, I lost myself several times in the construction lines (hehe), having to stop at these moments to check if the proportions of the elements were properly delimited.

Also, since 2023, I'm publishing weekly art videos on my YouTube channel.
